Please help me decide the screen size.
I've ordered one wide screen t61.
but I found a normal size screen t61 with better configuration is avaliable now.
If I go with the better configuration, I am not able to choose wide screen.
My concern is if the wide screen is really useful.
I will use this computer doing huge spreadsheet work in majority of time, some movie entertainment and light gaming.

    Thanks in advance.

I personally think that a widescreen may help you since you will be dealing with spreadsheets. However, the real question is what have you been using in terms of a screen size and resolution on your computer - that is a personal preference. Once I went to widescreen i never went back - I have a 1680x1050 on both my laptop and on my 22" LCD on my desktop and I have gotten so used to it that staring at any other display makes me feel weird

    Thanks for the reply
All laptops and desktops I used before are regular side, not wide screen.
I feel very good with high resolution.
So, should I switch to wide screen? still struggling...

Well, I would say stick with the widescreen still because in most movies are in the widescreen format to begin with as well as most games. If you were not using it for entertainment and just for the spreadsheets, then unless you are side scrolling a lot in these spreadsheets I'd say then to go with the regular aspect ratio.

By the way, the T60s have a particular model that have the FlexView screens. These are regular 4:3 aspect ratio screens that offer superior viewing angles and I think they're better in quality too... not sure.

    Thanks, bud
the only thing pushes me to order another 4:3 is 570M card....
I think probably, I will stick with the wide screen, and forget 570M for some years....
