After a very short time the screen goes dark. I get it back when I push enter on the pad. How do I delay the closing to a reasonable period of time.

I have a lenovo thinkpad with win 7

If you have Lenovo Power Manager installed then go to the idle timers of your power plan and then customise the time desired for the Dim Display section. You can also turn off this option by selecting "Never".
