    Screen has red spots when i close then open my lid?

    I have a IBM Thinkpad T30 and if i close the lid then open it like 5 minutes later it will leave red spots. Sometimes they go away but now i got 1 that stays no matter what.
    Also that spot is warmer then the rest of the screen.
    anyone know whats wrong?

    also i found out it isnt when i open and close it just happens if my screen turns off.
    now that spot never goes away.
