I have an IBM R50 with a strange startup problem. Sometimes when the
computer starts up the screen just becomes a lot of colored lines then colored dotes. This is happening as the IBM bios screen is loading up. I can tell windows is loading after that screen, but it to is unreadable too. I have the latest drivers and latest bios installed. It does it with XP or Vista loaded on the harddrive, I have tried 2 different drives. I may have to try starting up the computer a number of times before it will work right. I ran PC Doctor and it says every componant is working fine. After I installed Vista, I did not see the problem for a number of weeks, but it just started up again. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
