If i have the specs and serial number of the system that was shipped to me, where can i check if the screen is LG or Samsung?

I read somewhere that this possible, and have been trying to find the same for a while now but can't find it.

    Please advise...

Some say LG is better, some say there is no difference after calibration...
I can't say which one but I have an LG and it is pretty good!

Yes, the Lenovo parts lookup page just produces a list like the OP found, but without any way (that's obvious to me) to translate the mfg part# into a manufacturer's name. My own screen is...
42T0443 - 42T0410 but I've no idea what that means.

So how do some people come out and claim that they have LG or Samsung screens?

Also, I would appreciate if some one can guide me as my notebook was shipped yesterday and since this morning it shows the following

    CHEK LAP KOK,
    HK 03/20/2008 7:02 P.M. EXPORT SCAN
    03/20/2008 7:01 P.M. ORIGIN SCAN
    HK 03/20/2008 5:02 P.M. BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

It is stuck at this location and no further progress.

Also, when i charged my card for the purchase a "Hold" on my credit limit was placed for the amount due to Lenovo. However, presently the hold has also been cleared and the amount has not been charged to my card either. I then called my Bank and they said that a hold remains in place for three days and if the vendor does not provide the necessary charging information the "Hold" expires and the same amount becomes available to the card holder again.

In the present scenario, however Lenovo has shipped my notebook but has not charged me. Also, now that the UPS tracking info still shows my notebook stuck at Hong Kong i don't know what to do. I am just repeatedly checking my order status at Lenovo's website (which says that the product has shipped) and when i go to UPS website it shows the status as above.

    Please advise (I am worried....)

UPS usually takes a bit to update, be patient. My orders have usually updated the evening something happens so give it a day or two. I have never had UPS fail me.

No problem. It is easy to get antsy when you are waiting for new toys. :)
