    Hi,

I have a Thinkpad T500 with 1280x800 LCD resolution screen. I'm very happy with the notebook but I miss some higher resolution.

Does anybody know if I can change the screen with aftermarket WSXGA+ 1680X1050 CCFL ?

On paper the specs. of my notebook and the ones with the higher res. screen look identical, but I'm not sure.

Has anybody done this successfully and will it work ?

My Thinkpad part number is 2082-6MG.

    Thanks !
