No sense in writing a long story; I'm pretty bummed.

I have an x61s that was in my backpack when I took a hard fall on my bike. The screen is now damaged (cracked and a black area); what are my options for repair/replacement?

    Thanks,

    Mac

if u had accidental on it, u can always call lenovo and get a replacement screen , unless the places of damage require a shell replacement as well. did u run a hd scan on it to see if anything else broke?

Any idea what the screens cost from Lenovo? Searching Google turns up a few screen replacement websites that sell screens for 400-ish dollars.

Regarding the case, the tiny little lip at the front edge of the main body where the screen snaps in is cracked. What is involved in case replacement?
