    Hi,

New to the forum; however, so far it has answered many of my questions!! I am on the verge of purchasing an IBM T42. I need help in deciding the scren size. Do I go for the 14.1 sxga (or xga) to save that 0.8 lb in weight and size, or do I splurge for the 15 inch sxga? Is there really a noticable difference in size between the two. I will be lugging it around every day to and from work (science lab); so it will be for work use, as well as internet browsing and home networking; I will use it for gaming (quake, UT2k and Medal of Honor). I have decided on the 64MB ati 9600, 60GB 7200rpm HDD. I will be adding an extended battery and power unit to the bag. Considering I have been lugging a 4yr old Dell, current combined weight of over 20lbs, I know I will notice the difference with a new bag and computer regardless. But ultimately, would the 14.1 do just fine? Anybody with experience using both sizes? Is the sxga screen on 15inches more user friendly than on the 14.1? I realy appreciate any input.

    Thanks for the help,

    Ken...
