    Are there screens with a higher resolution that fit the X61? Where can I get these?

    The SGXA+ from the tablet version can be made to fit, but you have to have some serious skills. You're probably better off buying the tablet if that what you want.

    Do I need to cut the screen for it to fit? Has anyone done it before? Will the screen crash because it's not meant to be there? Thanks.

    Didn't erik have a writeup on how he transplanted an SXGA+ panel in X61? There was some pin modding or something like that..

    Trust me, that's the easiest hurdle to jump. I'll let erik explain it. While I've swapped a few screens in my days, but this is some serious skillz, which I do not have.
