This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    There was this whole big deal with the T60s about screens and keyboards from different manufacturers that differed in quality...is this still an issue with the T61?

    I believe so. I have not heard anything about Lenovo simply sticking with one manufacturer, so I think we can assume they purchases parts from multiple manufacturers as they have in the past.

    I'm sure someone with a T61 can either confirm this or disagree.
