I'm not sure whether to post this here, a firefox forum, or a general vista forum, so sorry in advance if this doesn't belong here.
I've had a T500 about a month, and several times a day when I try to scroll through webpages in firefox, it will scroll very slowly as if I had it set to scroll half a line or so with each mouse wheel turn. This only seems to affect firefox (not word documents at any rate). The only way I've found to fix this is to go into mouse properties, the mouse wheel tab and then reenter 3 lines as the standard vertical scroll length. When I open mouse properties it is already set to scroll 3 lines, but changing it to 2 and then back to 3 seems to fix everything for a bit. A few hours later it will usually be messed up and I will have to change the mouse settings again. The scrolling is affected for the touchpad, trackpoint, and my mx5000 revolution mouse. I've tried to see if anything is setting it off, but it's hard to tell. Sometimes it seems like it's after I put the computer to sleep and wake it up, othertimes it seems to start after I connect my mouse. It's never really consistent.
If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. This is driving me crazy and it seems to have been happening more frequently in the last week or so.

Hello,
it seems that your external mouse will mess the settings of your
ultra nav.
Sometimes Firefox has got strange scrolling behavior,
if specific ultrav settings are applied, e.g. automatic srolling is activated.
It´s seems a normal behavior beetween FF and ultranav software.
My R60 also shows this behavior, but I most use my touchpad and no
external mouse.

this has happened to me too. only when I use ultranav scrolling button and touchpad scrolling, then switch back to use mouse wheel scrolling.

Thanks, at least I have an idea now of what to look at now. No one has a definitive fix though?
