I waded through almost every post in the thread on the Seagate Momentus 7200.4 500GB elsewhere on this forum - but it seems like almost all of it is speculation as to how the drive might perform or compare rather than much in the way of real life experience. Has anyone here actually installed one of these drives in a Thinkpad (T60/61/P)? If so, would you care to share your experience with the drive? Enquiring minds are interested! :)

I have one in my R60, which is almost the same machine as the T60s innards wise. I've not had any problems with it. I got it because I needed more space. It seems to boot a bit faster than my old 7200.2, but other than that I've not noticed anything huge either way. I don't really do anything hard drive intensive.
