I have both HDD at the moment. Lenovo sent me a replacement laptop with the Seagate Momentus 7200.2 HDD, while my old laptop has the Hitachi Travelstar 7K200.

Which one should I keep? I need to return the old laptop this wedneday.

The issue is that I already did a clean install on the new laptop and have all my files and programs installed so it'd be a headache for me to change it to the Hitachi. But if performance is better, I won't mind doing it.

    What do you guys think?

EDIT: I should mention that according to HDTunes, the average read transfer rate is 43MB/Sec for the Seagate and 49 MB/Sec for the Hitachi. Will I notice any real world difference?

    The practical difference is none.
