This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Second copy of recovery media?

    My USB with my Recovery Media accidentally got erased/formatted. Now when I try to make a second copy, it says "You can have only one copy of the Microsoft Windows operating system. The Product Recovery Media Creater will now exit." Is there anything I can do to get around this so that I can make my backup once again?

    You need to contact Lenovo to order another set of recovery media. Discussing ways to bypass the recovery media creator is against forum rules.
