Can I use any brand of security cable for my R60, or is R60 only compatible with particular type or brand?
And whichever may be the case, is there any that you recommend?
Thanks!
Ken.

Well, the security slot is called a Kensington Security Slot, but most security cables are all standardized and any brand will work - Kensington and Targus are the more common ones.
Most of the "options" you get are on chains with keyed locks (as opposed to combination locks). The Kensington MicroSaver DS is probably the strongest chain on the Kensington side. There are some other chains that offer an alarm, or a warranty, etc.
In general, keyed locks are a bit safer--more options to choose from, sturdier chain...combination locks have a limited number of combinations that someone really patient could open in a few hours. On the other hand, if you lose your key, it's really annoying.
That being said, it doesn't really matter - it's more of a deterrence for the casual guy walking past wanting to just pick it up and run than the determined thief, who would undoubtedly be armed with bolt cutters and other tools. -
Thanks, Taelak!
