This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Security sticker issue, peeling, not ripping

    Seems lenovo should do something about their security sticker issue.

    Not the first time I have seen the sticker not _rip_ like it should during opening (or tear and plastically deform and damage the plastic bag), but instead just peeled off as a whole, thus defeating the purpose of demonstrating to the customer that the laptop is somehow not tampered with.

    Separate unboxing. Separate products.
