The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Called IBM and got through in minutes! Boy, that is nice. Called Dell and was on hold for 40 min. then on hold for another 15 min, then got disconnected. Boy if that dont get you mad. IBM is worth the extra money. [ :p]

    Yes, their support is super. I've called IBM support 4-5 times and everytime I've called after I got through the phone menu a real person has answered by the 3rd ring and they have never put me on hold.
