    Just did the update on Windows Vista Business. Now I have Service Pack 1. What I saw is that in Control Panel -> System, Windows recognize the whole 4GB RAM. So is the OS using 4GB or it's the same 3GB?

    The same 3GB. It is not possible to use 4GB of RAM in a 32bit environment.

    thanks for the article. So the 4GB that it shows in System is for design only. Anyway thank you for the replys.

    It only uses 3gb in order to use 4gb you need 64bit OS
