    Hello,
My laptop is a Lenovo 3000 N200. It has been VERY slow for the past week or so, as well as having some internet problems. I have NO virus or firewall.

My C: drive needed defragmentation, so I defragmented it. Now, after analyzing, the Diskeeper also told me the following message, about a drive called ServiceV002 (which I have no idea what it is!!):

    " Findings on {84f494ae-5b5f-11dd-a10e-806e6f6e6963}:

Diskeeper has completed analysis of this volume and found 1 fragmented files and/or directories and 1 excess fragments.

The average number of fragments per file is 1.00.

On average, you have 0% excess fragments per file on this volume, with 3% of the total volume space available for defragmentation. This level of free space is critically low and performance is suffering badly from that fact alone. Indeed, fragmentation is the least of your worries under these conditions. Clear some files off this volume to achieve a minimum of 20% free space for acceptable performance. You should use the Smart Scheduling option in Diskeeper to automatically keep fragmentation at a low level. Click the Set It and Forget It tab in the Diskeeper display to set up a Smart Schedule, or to confirm whether any schedules are set."

Clearly, it seems like this is the source of my slow running problems..... BUT does anyone know what I should b doing now? I mean... no need for defragmentation here. HOWEVER, it tells me that I should "clear some files" from this volume, BUT I don't know where to find this volume....!!??
Can anyone explain what all this means?? :'-(

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Check your available space (tell us that) and then tell us what the total space is and what the system is. Tell us what cpu time is consumed versus what is free. What kind of disk protection do you have?

You seem to be out of disk space.

If you're running low on disk space, try recovering some with a disk cleanup.
Open up My Computer, Right click the drive, and select Properties-> Disk cleanup. Clear out the temp files, the recycle bin, and the internet cache. If you're feeling brave, you can also get rid of old restore points. That should net you some space.
