    Shaky U300s Lids?

    Question for current U300s owners:

    Do you guys find the lid to be shaky? I just noticed the lid seems to shake really easily, you only have to tap it lightly.

    Thoughts?

    This appears to be a problem people have, but I am not sure if its anything more than ultrabook standards.

    My U300s lid is ever so slightly bendy, but it is FAR superior to the lids on other ultrabooks in its class. I don't find it to be a problem at all in day to day use.

    perhaps your shaky lid is more than just because of its thinness? What are the exact symptoms?

    That's what I'm thinking. I'm used to ThinkPad durability ;) So I just wanted to know if other users are having lid shaking with this unit.

    I'm going to take a look at few video reviews to see if I notice the same shake.

    After further research is appears my hinge was a bit loose due to something I did.

    I fixed it though.

    My lid is very sturdy. As sturdy as this beautifully thin screen could be.

    I remember the staff reviewer from this site mentioning he had a review unit that was very flimsy, you can read about it in the U300s owners thread...

    From what we could tell, he was in the minority and most of us have very sturdy solid lids.
