I ordered a T61P last week for my friend, and I put my billing address as the same one I used in my credit card. And I put my friend's address as shipping address. Today I got the email from Lenovo that my shipping address has to be in my credit card profile. I would like to ask, do I just need to add my friend's address into my credit card profile? Not sure if credit card allow multiple address. Did anyone face the same issue before and how did you handle it? Thank you.

You need to call your credit card issuer and tell them you want to add an additional shipping address on your card.

Yes, I use AMEX for the purchase of the T61P, I called AMEX in advance and asked them to add my work address (that's where I tell Lenovo to ship to) to the credit card profile effective for a month.

    I have the same problem.
I normally live in Denmark but I’m in CA to study for six months. I received an email yesterday from Lenovo about adding the shipping address to my credit card profile. I called my Danish bank and they told me that it was only possible to have one address, so I hope to find another solution. I also called Lenovo two hours ago, but I haven’t got a recall yet.

    Regards David

I would be interested in this also as I'll be doing the same for a friend. Can I just call up my CC issuer and remove the address once its shipped? And does Lenovo ship even if that second address is outside the US?

I ordered a case and they shipped it to my work address, while the billing address is my home. Is there a price limit for separate address shipping perhaps? I will say, my credit card issuing bank is aware of my office address (part of credit card application process) so is it possible that they leveraged that information?

Looks like it's time to call the credit card company and find out.

was a Mastercard if that means anything...

I called Lenovo's credit card service this morning, the only option I had was to leave my name, phone nr and order nr. They still haven't called me back.
Of course callback times may vary but does any one have experience with callback times?

I'm in the same boat. I tried calling about 10 times yesterday and got the answering machine every time. I left a message and sent an e-mail to their credit card service but no reply so far...

Ok, I finally got through by redialing their number about 8 more times. They don't appear to have a automated phone service that puts people on hold, as when I finally got through the person picked right up without any wait at all. It was a pain getting though to them but at least things are moving forward now.

Hey, I'd like to hear the conclusion to this... I'm in the same situation.
