    How long would it usually take to ship a preconfigured T60 plus 1Gb extra memory and a 9-cell battery? Please share your shipping experience.

    I got mine just inside four weeks. They quoted me 3-4 weeks...

    Strictly preconfigured models (as listed, no options) can take anywhere from under one week to 4 weeks depending on availability, shipping backlog, and customer importance. I think corporate clients tend to get preference over us mere mortals most of the time. Adding parts will usually add a week or two to the estimate, in addition to what's been listed above.

    I haven't dealt with Lenovo since IBM handed over the business, so I can't speak specifically from experience with them, but traditionally that's how it has been.
