I've ordered this laptop on the 18th, and the estimated ship time for me has been delayed a total of 4 times for me, originally starting from monday, to now Thursday. I would hope they could just be up front with me and tell me a reallistic date for me to get it because I ordered the laptop expecting it to come before Canada Day, but the major delay has pushed it to a total (roughly now) 14 business days, a total of twice as long as their so called advertised time. So although this laptop is probably the best bang for its buck around, buyer beware, in Canada at least to prepare for a hell of a wait time on your purchase. Mine was ordered on the 18th, and apparently a rep has told me it has not even been made yet, let alone been shipped to manufacturing.

tl;dr: Careful about buying this laptop now, it is in high demand, and a safe bet would be that it will be in production for a good 3 weeks.

Mine was also delayed twice. It only takes like 3-4 days for the package to get here once it's shipped though :D

UPS told me it came from China, ended up in Alaska, went to the midwestern US for a snack, and finally made it's way back up north. You sure they have a distribution center in toronto?

My Y410p's journey started in China, went to Alaska, then Kentucky, then to BC where I live. It's in customs right now, in my city, but I probably won't get it until tomorrow. Ordered it on the 18th.
