    Hey Guys and Gals,

Im planning on replacing my TPr40 with the z60m soon and want to secure the best price I can get.

    I see I can get the 2531MTU for 1029 or the 2529RCU for 1199.

The 2529RCU will get me a 7200 rpm harddrive a slightly faster cpu and a max brite screen.

The 2531MTU will get me better screen rez and a longer warranty.

Im going with the latter.. unless otherwise directed....

    Question....

Whats the going EPP discount on the 2531MTU? Also ... if I know someone who works at ibm ... in Brasil.... could their number give me a lenovo epp discount in the US? I know I will be getting the answer to these questions within the next few hours ... but I thought I would run it by more eyes for now to see if someone knew off hand.

    Thanks in advance,

    TFG72

No. And in any event the EPP are final sales, no return.
Sometimes you see the same deal in the online stores which allow returns, perhaps for a restocking fee sometimes none. At least it's returnable tho if you hate it or something.

The z60 has a poor dvd burner... much faster/improved in the z61, and you get a core duo, faster memory etc

I have thought about saving for the z61.... but figured I would ditch the r40 get a z60m and then start working on a nice desktop. Thanks for the heads up with the dvd burner.... I will see if I can swap that dvd burner out for the standard cdr/dvd player combo.

Thanks for the gouge on the no returns!
