    Hi,

I hate my fujitsu S2110 and seriously regret not buying an IBM.

I can buy a Thinkpad X60 for $1400 Canadian (from the visa discount with Lenovo.ca, which is really good for Canada). Its the base model, but I can upgrade the hard drives and I memory later (maybe the 2 gigs from my S2110 is transferable).

Is the X70 coming out soon?

The memory is not transferable. I haven't heard anything on the x70, but that don't mean much.

It's been $1400 since last autumn. So I'd wait for the price to drop again or better bang for your buck (eg., maybe a newer x61 for same money or less).

    Thanks,

I think I will try and wait it out until the autumn.
