Hi guys.
There is an opportunity to get this 15.4" T60 for $930 shipped.
Specs:
T7200 C2D
2GB 667MHz RAM
80GB 5.4k RPM HD
WSXGA Display
x1400 Mobility Radeon
6 Cell battery
Vista HP
Should I hit it or what? My budget is maxed currently so this will be the best I can do.

hm....I'm sure you can get a Thinkpad T61 with that deal in the Lenovo outlet.
-
Is it brand new? What's the warranty? Seems like an okay deal, but I'd rather buy a T61 for a little bit more.
-
Brand new and sealed, 1 year warranty.
-
Well you save about $100-150 if you go with a similarly configured T61. I would say go for it if $980 is your max budget.

seems like a solid purchase. you can't go wrong with T60 under a grand.

It depends what your planning on using the laptop for. I was able to get a T61 14" with a C2D 9300 for just a hair above $1000. There is a 15% discount coupon you can use. I just went with the bare minimum: integrated graphics, 80gb hd, 802.11 a/b/g, base cd-rw/dvd-rom drive, fingerprint reader & thumbstick, and a downgrade to Vista Home Basic.
I wanted to get SUSE Enterprise 10 preinstalled since I already have a OEM copy of Vista Business.
I work at the hospital part-time and attend school. My main purpose was to have a small and light laptop to take to work, where I can review powerpoints and lecture notes during my breaks. So, it didn't really matter getting the discreet vs intergrated solution. -
Some t60s have had some problems... freezes... better to go with the T61
Should I get this T60?
