Should I pull the trigger on a used T60?

    Hi all,

First of all, I am not sure if I am posting in the correct forum. I didn't fill out the 'What should I buy' form since I know what I am going to buy. With that said, here goes.

I am in the market for a relatively cheap portable mainly for text editing/web surfing. I am not looking for anything heavy-duty, as my desktop can handle my heavy-duty tasks. I've been looking for a decently-configured T60/61 for my usage, and I think I've found one.

For $700, I can get a T60 with a T2400, 1GB RAM, GMA950 graphics, and a DVD burner. That'll do what I need just fine. But, is the price right? Should I wait for more of Lenovo's sales in the future?

    Thanks a lot.

I think you can get one brand new for about 950 atm.

I would say 500 max for that.
