Ordered a 230t 6/8 at 10am EST. My order still shows "Order Processing" with a ship date of 6/13. I could live with that, just thought I would get some progression.

    Is the order status progression:

    Order Processing>>>Released to manufaturing>>>In Production>>Shipped

    Thanks

what about "order received"? That's what my current order says. I also spoke to a sales rep who said my order had already been sent to manufacturing; however, my status still says otherwise...

Well thats kinda good news. I'd rather have the status page not working, and the folks building them, on the ball.

I haven't spoken to Lenovo since placing the order. I might do that...

My x220 was delivered before it even told me the order was processed... so yes, no, maybe.

Mine went from 'released to manufacturing' to 'shipped' (albeit without a tracking number so far). I'd say you should take any order status given with a big ol' grain of salt :p

I'm getting a little worried my order for an x230t has been stuck in "Released to Manufacturing" for a couple days now.

I've noticed the 180gb ssd drive(which I ordered) option now has a 7/2 delivery date for the X230, and the T430s. All other drive options give you the 6/19 delivery

I'm figuring they are out of these drives at the moment.

Thing is the X230T and T430 do not show a delay in shipping with this option

Aren't these the same ssd's for all these machines ? And if so, why would some have a longer delivery time.

supply-chain management is quite a big industry and a LOT of automated factors go into the dates that the end user receives, many of which are to protect the company building the item.

Its quite possible that the allotment of 180GB SSDs for the X230 and T430s have been exhausted because they are manufactured in a different building/campus and there is currently no way to source the parts from another building/campus...

I re-ordered my T430 (without the SSD since I already have one) but my order status still shows "order processing" with an estimated ship date of the 17th. My original order went to "order received" almost immediately. From this vantage point, I have honestly no idea on what could be keeping it from going to RTM, but it could be my choice of the 2GB NVS 5400m choice may backorder my system for a while :(

OK so I figured I call Lenovo to hopefully get some information on the situation. That was a waste of time.

I asked the rep if there was any backorder situation that could affect my order and it didnt seem like he new what was going on other than "it is in the warehouse for production". When I asked what the difference was between "Released for Manufacturing" and "In Production" he replied, "Oh nothing"....

Ship date now is 6/18 originally 6/12

Good news my sleeve for the tablet has shipped !!! SWEEEEET!!...
