    Hi all,

Show me your home/office setup! I'd like to see how you use your Thinkpad everyday.

I use my Thinkpad T43 as my primary notebook, for university during the day and as a desktop replacement at night.

I have it hooked on to the 17inch Philips LCD monitor, which acts as my primary screen. The thinkpad LCD screen becomes the secondary screen. The extended display feature is amazing.

This makes computing so much more fun and efficient. I have my pdf, powerpoints slides or web browsers on my right for reference whilst I word process on my main 17inch LCD. It's great.

Sometimes I have a TV show (A bit of footy, John Stewart..) on full-screen on my right when I'm doing work that's not that serious. Instant messaging, Winamp, the lot.

This shows the versatilty of the T43, working well as a notebook for school/work during the day and a desktop replacement at night.

    Specs:
    =====================
    Thinkpad T43
    1.73 ghz pentium Centrino
    1.25 gb ram
    40 gig hard drive

    External DVD+-RW USB Drive
    Mouse
    Keyboard

    External Card Reader

    Old Dell Rig

I looked at your specs but I don't see a TV tuner. Is that what you use for TV?

I meant downloaded episodes. It's my version of Tivo here in Hong Kong. =P
I'd love to get a PCMCIA TV Tuner Card some time later.
