I did a clean install of XP on my R61, but I seem to have gotten this blue screen problem at shutdown.

I've searched and not found anything conclusive. I have tried to make sure all the drivers are correct and updated but still no luck.

Everything else seems to work fine, so it's not a big deal...but it is annoying.

    Any troubleshooting tips?

I had the same thing occurring during my clean install. Once I got it all updated and drivers installed the problem went away.

Make sure windoz is fully patched

I used the Thinkpad system update utility and Windows Update. Both indicate I have the latest drivers and windows patches.

Is there anything else I can do to make sure everything is up to date?

    Thanks
