So, I just got my 14" T60 2613EAU and absolutely love it. Everything is exactly what I hoped for...except when it shuts down.

About 50% of the time when I shut down/log off/restart/etc. I get the pop up screen saying that it is trying to end the program "CardReaderLookup." Then, everytime I have to hit "end now" in order for my computer to shut down.

Anyone know what this is? How do I fix this minor but annoying problem?

I should mention that I didn't install/remove anything before this problem started.

Card reader? Did you plug a smartcard or other accessory into the latop?

Hrm.. I wonder if the T60 treats the print reader as a card reader..

The only thing I could suggest is track down updated drivers. Also, if there's a file that starts with CardReaderLookup... trying searching for it, see what directory it's in, it could give a clue as to what manufacturer is causing the problem.

No help for you here, but I get the same message on mine, and can't figure out what it's from. Definitely not a smartcard reader or such; I haven't plugged one in.
