    Hi. What is this for???

Can I connect my Rogers sim card (from my cell phone) and get access to the internet or something? Theres no info on the sim card feature available at Lenovo.

    Also...

Do I have GPS built in? Do I need to buy or "torrent" ;) a map software to get it to work? Thanks.

The sim card slot is only used if you bought the optional WAN card (which is either AT&T or verizon). The GPS is located on the WAN card... which means no GPS, no use for the sim slot if you didn't get a card. I wish I had bought the card at the time... $50 then is a whole lot better than the $150 or whatever it would cost now.

Also, as a friendly hint, I wouldn't go around talking about piracy here, even with a wink.

If I bought the WAN card but did not subscribe to either AT&T or verizon then would gps still work with ms streets and trips?
