The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Simplest method to switch between DVI outputs on T500+ATI?

    without changing cabels that is :)

    There's a couple of threads regarding dual-display, but I only need a simple way to switch between two output displays. My setup is an external LCD via DVI and a flatscreen via DVI/HDMI (currently 1080p using DVI).

    Can I use the docking station with two DVI out to switch between these, or are these just for enhanced bandwitch to a single display? Non-docking solutions is also fine.
