Has anyone perhaps tried Skyrim on a t61p with a quadro 570m? The minimum requirements are a 512 mb graphics card, but MB is not neccessarily the litmus test for a good graphics card.

I ask because the quadro 570m is 256, but has the ability to share another 256. (Not the best combination, I am sure.)

How was the quality on medium settings, and did it lag at all?

The quality was pretty good and I didn't notice any lag. I did turn off Anti Aliasing and Anisotropic filtering.

I'd make sure your T61p is a revised NVidia GPU before stressing it with games.

How does someone check without ripping the machine apart if it has the revised NVidia GPU?

I think you can check via production date on the sticker on the bottom.
