    Sl300 vs N500 vs R61i

    Im looking to buy a lenovo/ ibm as their reputation for been reliable and functional is so strong . Im based in the UK and a quick look of some of the major sites showed up theses three in my limited budegt


    Sl300
    R61i
    N500


    To me they all look pretty much the same but im by not means an expert. I just want a laptop i can rely on !!!!

    Are they any difference i should be aware of or any faults with any of the models ?

    I don't know what you'll be using it for, but the SL300 has a better processor and cache (though the screen is smaller).

    But the build quality isn't as good on the SL series.

    I have an SL300 and overall it's pretty amazing. I find the build quality is very good and the LED screen is just glorious. Configured a mid range machine for $850 CAD. Battery life is around 5 hours and virtually no heat is produced. I'd recommend it. Only downfall I see it that it is a bit chunky for a 13.3", both in size and weight.
