    Sleep/hibernate problems

    Recently got a new R61 and when ever I put it in sleep or hibrenate it would go black screen and then start up to the user log page instead of remaining in sleep/hibernate.

    You have your computer set to prompt you for a password upon resume. Look under the Power Settings in Control Panel.

    Do you have any external devices plugged in like a mouse?

    I experienced the same problem when I bought a z61 last year just before they were phased out. I returned it and bought the T61 a few months later. Not sure if there is a solution to the problem.
