Do you guys recommend me getting a sleeve for my T400 with a 9 cell battery? If so, which size considering the large battery. Or is it a waste of money?

With the 9 cell a 15 inch sleeve might fit. But I think Thinkpads pretty much protect themselves, so if you have a computer bag, or even a backpack, it should be pretty safe.

I think the safest bet is to get a sleeve for it. I hate any scratches on my laptops. You need a 15.4 inch sleeve for 9 cell battery.

I found this "Init" sleeve from Bestbuy, in Canada. It was a 14'' sleeve. It fits rather well.
