I have a T400s with an intel 5300 AGN adapter. Recently, I've noticed that the wireless network is unavailable after resuming from standby. Usually, the connection restores after 10 seconds or so, but I'd like for it to work immediately.

I have observed this behavior on multiple wireless networks and have the latest BIOS and intel drivers and am running windows 7.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

You have the 13.3 drivers then? They were just released.

Are you using Windows to manage wireless connections, or Intel's utility? If you're using Intel's, I'd ditch it and just use Microsoft's.

I have the 5300 myself on my T400. I put my system to sleep (or hibernate) a lot and haven't had this issue.

I had been noticing this too on my x200s with the Intel 5100. I just updated to the new 13.3 drivers and it does seem to have improved. Thanks for the suggestion!
