I recently recieved my T60 - 2613. So far it's all that I've expected, but I've noticed one odd thing. The main thing is when I have an ethernet cable connected into my machine, the "checking the status of the security chip" during the start-up of the machine takes 1-5 minutes. Normally, it takes a few seconds otherwise. Anyone else experencing this?
Also I had noticed, when I recieved my T60 there was no form for the upgrade to Vista or the Vista capable or Vista Premium Capable logo, think this will void the free Vista?
Thanks

I didn't notice anything on my R60 when running Vista. I used the Ethernet cable when docked. I think the Vista upgrade is automatic if you purchased after Oct. 26. I would ask Lenovo.

Thanks for the reply. I plan on contacting Lenovo after Christmas, since I did have the purchase after Oct. 26th.
As for the ethernet, I'm using Windows XP not Vista.. anyone know if this is an known issue? -
I don't have any issue with XP either.
