Hi there,
Sorry if this has been posted before, I couldn't see it on the forum.
I upgraded my Thinkvantage Access Connections software through the Thinkvantage Update process a couple of months back. Since I did it pressing FN-F5 for the Access Connections panel takes forever to bring it up. From pressing it to the interface actually appearing it sometimes takes at least 30 secs. When it appears it's frozen and takes another 20 secs or so to unfreeze. When I then power on or off the wireless / bluetooth it takes ages then to actually do it.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so were you able to rectify it?
Thanks!![]()

Apologies for bumping but I'm still wondering if anyone has had this issue!
Thanks. -
Hello all,
Does anyone know a solution for this problem. I updated to the most recent AC. Still, same symptoms, takes forever to respond. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a T60p.
Thanks,
Ahmed -
Yo ! I had the same problem ... I did a factory restore due other reasons though .. and now its fine.
Try updating the ThinkVantage software ... it might help. -
Hi,
Just an update. I just updated my bios, then to the most recent version of access connections(4.52). This fixed the problem. Hope this works for others too. -
I have found another potential solution - it's the LOG file!!
turns out that if you turn logging on in access solutions, it continues to append to this file forever. once mine got up to about 10MB, access connection response time disintegrated.
solution: 1) open the log file to find out where it is stored ( it is an htm file and will be opened in explorer )
2) close the log file
3) turn off logging
4) delete the log file and backup log files
