Title says it all. I'm very happy with this machine, but I've never experienced this before. Closing out of Chrome (with multiple tabs) causes the computer to log me out. This does not happen when I close out of each individual tab separately. I'm sure there's some sort of quick fix... can anyone point me in the right direction?

Use Firefox. If you want to continue using Chrome, though, I got no clue so take this as a free bump.

When Chrome starts being able to log you off the system, I'd incinerate it with [digital] fire like an undesirable microbe gaining a malicious intelligence that threatens to hold your family at ransom for a bucket of rotting salmon.
All kidding aside, I have no clue why it's happening. =/ -
I'd just incinerate the system with a real fire.

btw, I'm posting this from a cr48 chromebook, where chome being the OS is normal life. Even so, chrome doesn't log me off when I close all tabs... -
Thanks guys.
I will add that I'm working with 6GB of RAM, which I upgraded after I received the laptop. This was an issue before and after the upgrade. -

Apparently it happens to some users when the "Clear cookies on close" option is enabled. -

What chrome are you using? I had a weird issue with closing chrome and bluescreens... It didn't happen 100% of the time.. but often enough to be a nuissance. Then again I was using dev channel chrome so I might have been asking for that one. Never found a solution for it. Reinstalled and never had that problem again...

Likewise I had to fall back on version 12 because of issues with 13 and dev so you might want to try either the dev version or an earlier one.

Hmmm....I'm having this same issue with my new X220 tablet. Will be sitting there and *bam* I'm logged out.
I need to check to see if it's Chrome related, but it is certainly annoying.
Small issue: X220 logs me out when I quit Chrome
