I download the Intel XTU program to undervolt right?

*The ideal unvervolt is -100 MV?

*Also after I undervolt, do I turn on or off turbo boost for more temperature reduction?

There is no idea undervolt, it is depends on each cpu. I got -110 on one laptop and only -80 on another. I have my current one -80mv on the CPU and another -50mv on the cache and iGPU. I wouldn't turn off turbo boost but I would modify your multipliers. I have mine set to something like 36x,33x,31x,29x (1 core, 2 core, 3 core, 4 core) so mine basically runs at 3.6 Ghz for more single threaded things but drops all the way down to 2.9Ghz when all 4 cores are running (and it can run at this speed for over an hour).

Does the XTU program have to be open in order the settings to stay?

XTU will have background service after you close the window and there will be a service will start after windows start up.

So you have to enable it in the background too huh? I close it off after I didn't need it lol.
