I'm considering an x301, and i'm a bit worried because i use MS Visual Studio 2008 with a Minimum Systems Requirement of 1.6ghz.

I believe that this processor can handle VS 2008 but will it even install at all?

Otherwise, how are your user experiences with this processor?

    Thanks,
    Peter

Are you running Visual Studio 2008 on an SU9400 right now?

The reason I'm concerned is that I'm considering a Latitude E4200 which has the same processor, and one of the reviews specifically said that it couldn't be installed because of the processor speed. I can't find anything on Google to the contrary either, which is unsettling.

Good question, OP. Thanks for asking it.
