    Hey all,

I have an R52 and I did the latest update of the thinkvantage software. Now afther 2 weeks I got problems and at random time I have a Blue screen of death. Giving me a problem about ibmfilter.sys.

Does someone know what to do about this ? On the ibm website there is nothing about this problem only that is was an issue with an older version of their rescue software. I have the latest recomended updates so that should be ok.

The problem is that I can't reinstall the pc on my own bacause its our system admin's job but he is not cooperating so I can't reinstall the system (special configuration etc etc). How do you folks think I have to handel this with him ?

    Have a nice day,

I'm not sure what you could do to resolve the issue with your tech guy, however, have you tried updating the bios? You might want to try doing a Windows Update aswell.
