    Hey all,

    I found this like a week ago, it boosts the sound output on the ThinkPads by quite a bit.

    In the SmartAudio control panel, click the headphone outlined in red and accept the pop-up message. This will boost the volume without any distortion whatsoever (opposed to loudness equalization and adjusting the equalizer). Hope this helps!

    Interesting, I wonder there's something like that on linux, because I have pretty low headphone volume with ubuntu..
