    Some Say IBM thinkpad, others just Thinkpad?

    Some of the notebooks say IBM thinkpad on them, others say just thinkpad?
    Why?

    Since Lenovo's acquisition of the "Thinkpad" brand, the IBM name is being phased out.

    IBM Thinkpad: leftover stickers
    Thinkpad: new stickers

    I'm happy w/ my IBM Thinkpad sticker. It adds more value to the laptop than just Thinkpad sticker

    Yeah, the blue, green and red ink adds quite a bit to the price :)

    Even without the 'IBM', they should add some nice colors to the 'ThinkPad'. The all white looks ugly.

    I think the right compromise would be to use the red, blue and green from the former IBM logo and incorporate it into the new Thinkpad logo.
