The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Some hotkeys don't work after fresh install

    So I followed the guides here and fresh installed Vista Business on an X61tablet.

    Some of my hotkeys do not work. The screen brightness and audio buttons work, but FN + F2, F3, F4, etc. do not work.

    I have Power Manager installed and FN + F3 does not work.

    But when I go into C:\programs\lenovo\
    hotkey and manually click the application for

    tpfnf2 the shortcut works. But only if I double click the icon which defeats the whole purpose.
