Does anyone have forum access over there? Ask him when he ordered it and ask him how long it was from order to reception. And find out the specs and where it shipped from

    There's no DVI-out? just a 15-pin VGA?
How is one to utilize all the outputs capable of the Quadro 570M?

That's the way thinkpads are :(

There's a passthrough so you can use the Advanced Mini-Dock ($170 option) or the advanced dock (~270 option) to get a DVI out. No idea if that outputs dual-link or not. But yeah, that kinda sucks about the thinkpads :) If I got one, I'd get the advanced mini-dock anyways cause it saves on having to plug in video, power, speakers, mic, usb, keyboard, ethernet...which I'd otherwise have to do.

Note: The Essential Port Replicator only gives you something like 4 USB ports; what a rip.

So without one of the docks, you cannot link up two external displays?
Don't most other Quadro notebooks have a DVI port and a VGA port? Or at least a VGA and a HDMI?
