    Does this laptop in fact have the x600, and does it in fact have the high res wsxga+ screen? Lots of conflicting data, and the model isn't listed in the spec sheet. I have tried calling IBM, but both times I have waited 20 or 30 minutes without ever getting off hold.

    i sent our ibm contacts an email, fingers crossed somebody there knows what the heck specs are right on this machine. i'll post back here if and when they respond.

    252902U is the model I was referring to about my first z60m purchase that I ended up canceling. I was able to get the awesome discount through the EPP thingy.
