    Somewhere along the way, someone on this forum recommended a 2.5" 7200 100GB hard drive along with a link to where to buy it. I cannot for the life of me find the post and could use a hand. Thanks in advance.

    There is nothing special about those, except for that Fujitsu is the first one with the 160 GB ones, because Seagate also makes 7200 RPM notebook hard drives as well as Hitachi.

    The Seagates are generally much quieter than the Hitachis. Make sure you get the right one for your laptop though (Serial ATA / Parallel ATA).
